We reserve the right to modify, update, replace, or improve course content, instructors, materials, schedules, or methods of delivery where reasonably necessary.
2. Educational and Medical Disclaimer
All information provided by Heartful Parenting, including information shared during classes, presentations, discussions, handouts, recordings, research materials, worksheets, websites, and other resources, is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.
Our programs are not a substitute for individualized medical, clinical, psychological, nutritional, or professional advice.
Information provided through our programs should not be interpreted as a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, medical prescription, or individualized instruction for your specific circumstances.
We do not provide individualized medical advice regarding your pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, newborn, infant, or other health concerns through our educational programs.
You should continue to receive appropriate care from your doctor, midwife, obstetrician, pediatrician, GP, or other qualified healthcare professional.
If you have concerns about your health, pregnancy, baby, postpartum recovery, or any other medical matter, you should contact your appropriate healthcare professional.
Heartful Parenting provides educational information and support only. Our programs are not medical care and are not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any medical condition. Information provided through our programs does not replace advice or care from your doctor, midwife, obstetrician, pediatrician, mental health professional, or other qualified healthcare provider.
3. Participant Health and Safety
We prioritize the safety and well-being of our participants.
You are responsible for your own health and safety while participating in our programs, whether online or in person.
If you have any medical condition, pregnancy complication, physical limitation, or other circumstance that may affect your participation, you should discuss participation with your appropriate healthcare professional before taking part.
If you or your partner feel unwell during a session, you should stop participating and seek appropriate medical advice.
Heartful Parenting does not provide emergency medical services. If you experience a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services or seek immediate medical attention.
Participation in our programs does not replace routine medical appointments, prenatal care, postpartum care, pediatric care, or any other healthcare recommended by your healthcare provider.
Heartful Parenting is an educational service and does not provide medical, midwifery, nursing, obstetric, pediatric, psychotherapy, or other licensed healthcare services unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Participation in any Heartful Parenting program does not guarantee any particular outcome.
For example, we do not guarantee: pregnancy or conception; a particular type of birth; vaginal birth or VBAC; unmedicated or medicated birth; a particular labor or delivery experience; breastfeeding outcomes; postpartum outcomes; or specific newborn or parenting outcomes.
Every individual, pregnancy, birth, baby, and family is different. Outcomes may be affected by circumstances and factors outside our control.
Our programs are intended to provide education, information, preparation, and support—not to guarantee a particular result.
5. Participant Responsibility
You are responsible for how you use and apply information provided through our programs.
You acknowledge that decisions relating to your health, pregnancy, childbirth, newborn, postpartum care, and parenting should be made based on your individual circumstances and, where appropriate, in consultation with qualified professionals.
You should not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking medical care because of information received through our programs.
6. Registration and Payment
Registration may be completed through our website, registration forms, Google Forms, or other designated registration methods.
Payment methods accepted may include Google Pay, PhonePe, bank transfer, Venmo, Zelle, Razorpay, or other payment methods made available by us from time to time.
Full payment may be required before access to a course, class, or program is provided, unless otherwise stated.
You are responsible for providing accurate registration and payment information.
A confirmation email or other confirmation will be provided after successful registration and payment, where applicable.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order or registration where: payment cannot be authorized or completed; incorrect pricing or service information has been displayed due to an error; a program is unavailable; we reasonably believe the registration has been made fraudulently; or other circumstances prevent us from providing the service.
Where appropriate, any payment received for a cancelled registration will be handled in accordance with our applicable cancellation and refund policy.
7. Contract Formation
When you submit an order or registration and payment is accepted, a contract is formed between you and Heartful Parenting for the services described at the time of purchase, subject to these Terms.
You should review your registration details carefully before submitting your order.
Any confirmation provided by us will contain, where applicable, the relevant course, date, time, pricing, and access information.
8. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility will be determined according to the refund policy applicable to the program at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise stated: cancellation requests should be submitted before the program or course begins; once a course or program has commenced, cancellations and refunds may not be accepted; no refund will be provided for sessions already delivered; failure to attend a session does not automatically entitle you to a refund; and if you are unable to participate because of technical problems on your side, including an unreliable internet connection or unsuitable device, this will generally not constitute a failure to provide the service.
Any exceptions to our cancellation or refund policy will be at our discretion unless otherwise required by applicable law.
9. Attendance and Participation
Regular attendance and participation are encouraged to receive the full benefit of our programs.
If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, please notify us in advance where possible.
Unless otherwise stated: missed sessions will not necessarily be repeated; a session may be considered forfeited if you do not attend within 20 minutes of the scheduled start time; we do not guarantee that individual missed sessions can be rescheduled; and course schedules and session times may be subject to change.
10. Online Participation and Technical Requirements
For online programs, you are responsible for having access to: a suitable device such as a laptop, tablet, or computer; a reliable internet connection; a functioning camera, where required; a functioning microphone, where required; and any software or applications necessary to access the session.
We are not responsible for interruptions, delays, inability to access a session, or loss of participation caused by your internet connection, device, software, power supply, or other technical issues outside our reasonable control.
11. Changes, Rescheduling, and Cancellation by Us
We make reasonable efforts to provide programs at the advertised dates and times.
However, we reserve the right to reschedule, modify, suspend, or cancel a session or program when reasonably necessary, including because of instructor availability, technical problems, illness, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If we need to reschedule a session, we will provide as much notice as reasonably possible.
Where a program is cancelled by us and you are entitled to a refund under applicable law or our stated policy, the applicable refund will be provided.
